1.0 Emerging Vistas

​​​​​Micak Contemporary Art Gallery's inaugural exhibition, 0.1: Emerging Vistas, features artworks that examine the role of the artist as adventurer and curious explorer of new frontiers.

"Vistas" refers to expansive views or panoramas of landscapes but can also denote broader perspectives or insights, such as new opportunities, possibilities, or avenues. As these literal or metaphorical frontiers reveal themselves, artists capture, react to, or interpret their findings by reframing these initial encounters in thoughtful and beautiful artwork.

This exhibition introduces artists working in painting, photography, textiles, ceramics, glass, and digitally- based practices.
